Level:  Introductory


The PowerDesigner SIG is for anyone using or thinking about using PowerDesigner for their modeling and metadata management projects. David Kobb will kick things off with a short presentation on the future of PowerDesigner, followed by an open discussion of use cases, sharing of best practices and general discussions related to the current and future versions of the tool.


David Kobb is the Senior Data Architect in the Enterprise Architecture Office of Education Testing Service (ETS). Mr. Kobb has over 25 years of extensive data processing experience. Since 1982, Mr. Kobb’s work has covered multiple aspects of database administration including logical design, physical design, implementation, and performance analysis and tuning. His current role is managing data architecture issues such as data technology life-cycles, the Corporate Data Model, Customer Data Integration (CDI), Model Driven Development (MDD), and heterogeneous data access and data distribution across the three tiered topology supported at ETS.
