Level:  Introductory

It's not easy to show that IT is focused on business goals and properly aligned to support them. A large part of the problem is that operational assets -- infrastructure, applications and so on -- are documented (if at all!) in one set of data stores, business information assets -- processes, rules, data and so on -- are documented in another. This session will present and demonstrate a common approach to managing operational and business information assets to support the desired integration.

Darren Wrigley is the Chief Solution Architect for metadata management solutions at ASG Software Solutions (www.asg.com). Darren has over 18 years of experience working with a variety of repository technologies, having successfully implemented many metadata applications across in North America, Europe, Australia and Asia.

Darren currently leads a global team of solution architects, that are involved with the design and implementation of metadata applications for application management, data warehousing, stewardship, governance and data management and integration programs.
